General Internal Medicine Research

Research in the General Internal Medicine Section encompasses a wide range of topics including: medical education, quality of life, physician worklife issues, epidemiology, health care outcomes, patient satisfaction and safety, technology implementation and medical errors, and HIV care. In addition, CTRI (Center for Tobacco Research & Intervention) is affiliated with GIM focusing on tobacco treatment and dependence.
