Biography
Dr. Wyman worked with Dr. Kenneth Heaton at the University of Bristol, United Kingdom in 1975 regarding colon function. He also studied esophageal function and dysfunction with Professor John Dent at Flinders University, Adelaide, South Australia in 1983; all of these studies were continued until recent years.
Since discontinuing endoscopic examinations, Dr. Wyman has concentrated his interest in diagnosing and caring for patients with functional gastrointestinal disorders including rumination, irritable bowel syndrome, chronic functional abdominal pain and other symptomatic disorders without demonstrable structural abnormalities. He also enjoys the challenge of caring for patients with inflammatory bowel disease and gastroesophageal reflux disease.
