Please contact the helpdesk with your fund account information to purchase any computer equipment or software (desktops PC’s, Macintosh systems, laptops, external hard drives, personal digital assistants (PDA), USB keys, scanners, and printers). Helpdesk staff will work with you to determine the equipment that will best meet your needs. This process includes: a) processing a quote for the most up-to-date equipment and software, b)  placing the order (once approved by you), c) setup and/or installation when the order arrives.  This process will ensure that any computer equipment or software that you purchase will be compatible with your needs and our network standards.We can customize quotes to meet your specific needs.  Here are some example quotes for the basic desktop and laptop computers currently ordered for the majority of the faculty and staff.
