The Department of Medicine Information Systems group provides a comprehensive array of information technology services to the largest UW-Madison academic department, it’s affiliated clinics, laboratories, and programs as well as paid clients within the School of Medicine and Public Health. Services include:

The Information Systems staff are located at two facilities; The Director of Computer Services, Network Administrators, and Helpdesk staff operations are located at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, 600 Highland Ave, J5/224 suite and J5/228. The Application Developers and Applications Support Group are located at 310 N Midvale Blvd (next to Hilldale Mall).


Helpdesk services are available Monday through Friday from 7:00a.m. to 4:30p.m.
Network services are managed 24/7.


The Department of Medicine IS Committee provides guidance and suggestions to the Chair’s office regarding
policy, standards, and services.
