HIV Care Program Mission and Vision

Mission

University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics HIV Care Program has a four-fold mission for delivery of care to patients:

  1. Providing comprehensive, high-quality health care to patients, including a commitment to provide such care for the medically indigent.
  2. Sponsoring and supporting research in the treatment of HIV disease to further the welfare of the patients treated.
  3. Applying the advances of HIV treatment to promote health and prevent disease.
  4. Assisting health programs and personnel throughout the state and region in the delivery of comprehensive HIV care.

Vision

To be Wisconsin's foremost health care provider, serving as a statewide and national leader for patient care, education, research and community service in the treatment of HIV disease.
