Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship
The Section of Gastroenterology and Hepatology offers a one year advanced endoscopy fellowship intended for those who have completed or will complete a 3 year general GI fellowship. During the course of the year, the advanced fellow will become proficient in ERCP, EUS, luminal stent placement, EMR, radiofrequency ablation and double balloon enteroscopy. Involvement in, and development of, research projects in the field of gastrointestinal endoscopy is expected. The goal of the fellowship is to develop academic interventional endoscopists who understand the cognitive and procedural aspects of advanced endoscopy procedures, can develop independent endoscopic research and teach others gastrointestinal endoscopy.
