Asthma is a disease that affects your airways. Asthma causes the inside walls of your airways to become swollen. This makes the airway very sensitive. When the airways are irritated, they narrow and less air gets to your lung tissue.
Our research efforts, along with the thousands of people who have been in our studies, have helped to develop new asthma medications that may include those you currently use. We conduct studies in both children and adults.
The pediatric and adult programs offer opportunities for you and your child to be a part of these research studies. Please click on a program below for more information, or go directly to our current studies.
Please view our current television commercial for more information (requires Quicktime Player).
