About Madison

Madison, Wisconsin has a lot to offer its residents as well as its visitors. Frequently rated among the best places to
live in the United States, Madison offers a strong economy, excellent job opportunities, and a wide range of cultural activities.
Along with the seasons Madison changes as well. When Summer comes there's boating on the lakes, live music at the Memorial Union on the lake, farmer's market on the square, Henry Vilas Zoo, 150 parks offering adventurous hiking trails and bike trails throughout the city or attend a Madison's Mallard's Baseball game.
Fall brings the changing of the leaves with the crisp hint of colder weather fills the air. Fall starts off the badger sport season with badger football. You will often find fans tailgating, watching the game at local taverns or cheering in the stands at Camp Randall Stadium.

As winter chills the air, Wisconsinites take to the various downhill ski hills, extensive cross-country ski trails or ice skating or enjoying the holiday lights displayed off John Nolen Drive. To stay warm, shop at the local malls or enjoy a show at the Overture Center. For winter sports go to a badger hockey and basketball game at the Kohl's Center.
Spring fills Madison's beautiful skyline with budding trees and vibrant flowers that reflect off Lake Monona. Some of the best activities in Madison are fishing on a nationally ranked trout stream, nature walks in Olbrich Gardens and shopping on State Street.
Madison is a city full of culture and opportunity you'll want to call it home.
